Mirja Lakso is a Swedish journalist based in Pristina, Kosovo. She is currently working as a columnist at the news platform Insjaderi in Kosovo.

Since coming to Kosovo in September 2019 Mirja Lakso has used her social media platforms to advocate for women’s rights. She has arrange different feminist events, appeared on tv, produced video interviews, written controversial articles and she has been hosting her own radio show.

Mirja Lakso graduated the journalist program at Tollare Folkhögskola in Stockholm 2019. During her studies she filmed in North Korea and focused on women’s rights in Eastern Europe, mainly in Moldova and Belarus.
